At Twenty One Pilots' recent tours, fans have been working together to hand out small paper squares before concerts for the audience to hold against their smartphone flashlight and change its colour during the show. If the project is successful at a show, the venue is filled with a sea of coloured lights that celebrate the band and its Clique.

VOLUNTEER INSTRUCTIONS:

​

The more volunteers at a show, the more influential the project will be!

 

Use the capacity of the venue to judge the total number of flashlight filters will be needed at your show.

 

Volunteers can use the template below to print and cut out flashlight filters. One A4 sheet of paper can be cut into 12x flashlight filters.

 

It is recommended that you print the template on either red or yellow paper. Be mindful that if the paper is too thick, light will not shine through.

 

To ensure the project runs smoothly, please ask the venue permission in advance before distributing flashlight filters. Once you are at the venue, volunteers often like to hand out flashlight filters to fans in lines and in their seats. Remember, do not pressure somebody to take a flashlight filter if they do not one.
